The automatic Capacitor Banks are equipped with a number of  PFC Cap. Cap. Duty Contactors and PFC Regulator. The Regulator measure the altitude and form of the voltage & current waves and their phase  difference. After doing the right calculation connect/disconnect the Cap. In the network. The Cap. switching is done by Cap. duty Contactors under control of the Regulator.
